Art Portfolio
This was a personal art project created in Procreate. A digital painting as a self-portrait painting utilizing carnations and marigolds in the woman’s hair with a more traditional style outfit. Her skin colors indicate her self-power, confidence, and peace.
This drawing was created as a personal project. I drew a member from one of my favorite bands, warpaint Emily Kokal. This was made with graphite on an illustration board. This was an excellent way to practice shading, rendering, and realism.
I was hired for a pet commission for a beautiful black cat. I enjoyed working on this oil painting, which is simple but full of details. The background color was chosen based on the owner’s favorite color. This oil painting was created on a 10×10 canvas.
Who Am I
I am Stephanie Ortega, a Mexican Guatemalan American artist based in Los Angeles. My art passion is oil painting and digital illustrations, but I love being artsy overall. If I am not found creating art, I am on an adventure, traveling, cycling, reading, playing video games or hanging out with my kitties.
